Rev. MacDougall is a graduate of the Reformed Theological Seminary.  He accepted Edgemont’s call in October of 2022, previously having served as Pastoral Intern at Old Providence ARP Church (Spottswood, VA).  Before his ministerial work, Pastor James had a 25-year career as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and Air National Guard and worked in technology management for the defense industry. He also holds a BS in accounting and an MBA. His wife, Elizabeth, is a professor at Bridgewater College. Together, they enjoy the company and training of their new silver Labrador, Lucy.
